MIRPURKHAS, Sept 24; Rain-affected people of Taluka Digri, Kot Ghulam Muhammad Road staged a sit-in against non-supply of relief to them by local administration.
Hundreds of old men, women ad children kept on cursing the local administration. They told the journalists that they were not given any relief for the last fifteen days; and they were being lulled by local PPP leaders that they would be provided relief very soon. One of the protesters who’s teacher in a local govt primary school told The STAR that a number of provincial and federal ministers ,MNAs and MPAS made request visits to their area, expressed sympathy with them and made photographs with the rain, made promises but no relief was forthcoming. |
